​Pastor Michael J. Brown, Sr., born and raised in the Church of God by Faith by two loving and devoted parents, Ruling Elder Theodore and Mother Vivian Brown, both who have transitioned to Glory.
Born in Lake Wales, Florida, his parents answered the call of the church and relocated the family to Newark, NJ in the 60’s.  He was educated in the Newark school system. After High School, he attended Essex County Community College in Newark, NJ. Pastor Brown is an Ordained Elder and Senior Pastor of the COGBF in Easton, PA.  He is a faithful laborer in the Kingdom of God and dedicated to building God's Kingdom one family at a time.  His life is dedicated to living by example and encouraging men and women to live up to their full potential in Christ.  Pastor Brown has many years of teaching and training skills, which enables him to reach others with humor, warmth, transparency and strength.  He is an evangelist, role model and mentor. Pastor Brown continues his studies through COGBF’s Continuing Education for Pastors through COGBF Theological Institute.
He is a loving husband and father who enjoys vacation and family time; he also enjoys fishing and reading. After several positions and over 40 years of employment with New Jersey Transit he was bless to retire in 2018.  Pastor Brown is married to his high school sweetheart Deborah (his bride) who works alongside him in the ministry. They are the proud parents of three adult children and six grandchildren. “To God be the Glory.”
